My interest in architect E. G. W. Dietrich began while researching and writing the National Register nomination for the c. 1893 John Mollenhauer House in Bay Shore, NY. I admired the clean lines and unique massing of his Shingle style design. Since then, I have catalogued more than 450 of his designs, documented and photographed built works in six states, and presented my research on the architect for many audiences including for the Village of Warwick's 150th anniversary celebrations.
